When Valentine's Day came around, Tess did not bother signing up for rose deliveries again. She simply was no longer motivated for anything anymore. Her roommate Mania noticed that something was up however, and whilst they never explicitly talked about it, Tess appreciated Mania's company and the pair of them became closer.
Despite not having a great year, Tess maintained her grades and did well with the additional subjects. She even managed to get herself an O in Care of Magical Creatures.
Fourth Year
Just before Tess started the new school year, her father had purchased her her own broom, positive that she'd make
the team this year. This really touched Tess and made her feel a little more confident for this year's try outs. When
she earned herself a permanent chaser position, she was ecstatic. It wasn't her preferred position, but she was at
least over the moon to finally be part of the team.
As Valentine's Day rolled around, Tess was disappointed that rose deliveries weren't happening this time. It made
her really regret skipping it last year. She chose to spend the time with her friend June and Camille, and they even
organised some catch ups for during the break.
Tess's grades did go down slightly this year, but she kept her O in Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures, and
Care of Magical Creatures soon became her most favourite subject.
Tessaria Carter
Tessaria Indiana Carter (b. April 2, 2052) is a Mixedblood witch and the youngest daughter of Landon Carter and Georgiana Night-Carter.
Early Life (2052-2063)
Tessaria Carter was born on the second day of April in 2052 to
Hogwarts Years (2052-)
First Year
Tessaria wasn't sure if she was ready for Hogwarts yet, but she was also excited to discover Hogwarts for herself and explore as much as she could. She would finally be able to picture the stories that her father told her, and to have her father by her side and her adopted sisters already attending the school was definitely the most reassuring.
Tessaria was not surprised to be sorted into Gryffindor where her mother was sorted. It was a relief as well that she didn't have her own father as her Head of House as she didn't want her peers thinking she was getting any special treatment.
Tessaria's father encouraged her to join some clubs, and so she joined the Wild Patch Club in order to try and make some friends. She had already made one friend however whom she met in the library. His name was Henri and he was in Hufflepuff.
When Valentine's Day came around, Tess made sure to participate in the delivering of the roses. Her father had told her that he had done it himself and that it was a great way to stay busy, join in on the celebration, and practice navigating the castle. She rather enjoyed doing this.
At the end of the year, Tess received average grades. She managed to get an O in both Flying and Herbology.
Second Year
Tessaria was eager for her second year as it meant she could try out for
Quidditch. She wanted to be part of the Quidditch team as she knew she was
good at it and she wanted to make her parents proud, especially since
Quidditch was part of her mother's career. She tried out for beater and
unfortunately did not get the position. This upset her, but her father assured her
that there was always next year.
To still feel like she was participating in Quidditch, she decided to join an
Unofficial Quidditch Club. It wasn't a real club that was recognised by the
school, but it was simply a group of like-minded people who enjoyed Quidditch.
Tess had fun boasting about how her mother was a famous Quidditch player.
Tess did not miss the opportunity to deliver roses again. She had so much fun
doing it last year and so was one of the first people to put her hand up this
year. The day went by quickly and she was exhausted at the end of it, but she
loved seeing everyone's reactions to their deliveries.
It was this year that Tess grew closer and began to trust her adopted sister's sister, June Davenport, who was an older Slytherin. She spent a fair bit of her time with June and Camille outside of class.
Tess's grades picked up slightly this year, however she still had room for improvement. Her best subject continued to be Herbology where she received another O.
Third Year
Tess was very nervous for the Quidditch try-outs at the beginning of the year. She had spent the break practicing as much as she could. She thought she had done quite well, however had been left with another rejection. This really dampened Tess's mood and she began to withdraw from those around her, including club activities.

Etymology
The name Tessaria is a modern feminine blend of the names Tess and Aria, meaning a combination of "harvester/summer" and "air/song."
Indiana gets its name from an old term meaning "land of the Indians," combining the word "India" with the regional suffix "-ana"
